tranny question
« on: June 26, 2014, 12:29:04 AM »
For those of you with experiences with different types of trannys which ones do you find most enjoyable? After spending most of my 20's driving with manuals I've been behind the wheel of an automatic for the last few years I miss the joy of switching gears at high speeds on the road. Looking at getting a m3 with dct how does that compare to a good ol manual?

Did you guys ever blow a tranny? ???

I think my second gear synchromesh is on the way out. Cracks horribly when downshifting.  :(

The manual transmission is dying. More and more cars are being made automatic. Engineers prefer automatic because they get to determine when the gears shift, not you.

Good post, I'm thinking the good old Turbo 350 is my favorite.

gotta be careful with your excitement  bro you blow them to hard and they'll spray tranny fluid all over you. Definitely don't want to get it in your mouth not safe to swallow.

I've watched alot of drag races and manual or automatic didn't make a difference but the one's in high heels always lost.
