Right lads, here we go!

Just picked my team   'Are there things'

If you want to take part in the official UK Getbig Fantasy Football 2014/15, you'll need to follow this link and pick your team:

Rules are simple: 50m to buy your starting 11 players, 2 players maximum from each team.

Once you've created a team, you will have the option of joining a mini league - our league is called UK Getbig

Once we've got an idea of how many of us are in the league, we'll sort out a stake and i'll set up a paypal - we'll discuss whether we do winner takes all, or cash first prize, second prize a photo of my vasectomy etc etc

For some reason I know i'm gonna regret Sturridge....

Had a great season, but Liverpool were in a bit of a bubble last season.

Might go for Costa and Bony

i think Costa might struggle, Atletico played to his strengths and he had a lot more space for them than he will for Chelsea, teams defend deep against Chelsea and most of their goals come from the 3 behind the CF as the CF gets snuffed out, ends up doing nothing more than creating space for the attacking mids to exploit.
reckon he might go the way of Schevchenko, Torres, Eto'o and even Drogba's latter years his goal-game ratio went down the pan.

Bony will likely join LFC, Sturridge + Bony will do well imo.

Dzeko is a great shout for top scorer too. Jovetic has to be a certainty, fully fit he's one of the best. Aguero struggling with injuries.

I see where you're coming from with Costa, you can almost hear the comparisons with Torres and co come December   

On the other hand, he could come good and I'll be kicking myself. I did strongly consider Dzecko as he had a great end to the season and is proving to be pretty consistent.

Dzecko/Bony or Sturridge/Bony I reckon - last thing I wanna do is put all my striking hopes on someone with no Prem minutes...

That happened to me, and I linked it with my paypal for a free trial of sunplus or something.

Basically you log in straight after and cancel the subscription

Overhauled my team completely - was spending too much on defenders.

The new improved 'Are there things' FC

GK - Howard
DEF - Ferdinand, Davies, Cameron, Vlaar
MID - Toure, Ramsey, Fabregas, Eriksen
STR - Van Persie, Sturridge

Lot of firepower in that squad now.

Had a funny feeling about Van Persie all of last night while I was wallpapering my lounge.....so made a couple more changes.

Vlaar - replaced with Wes Brown (to save 0.5m) and then swapped strikers completely for Rooney & Costa.

I reckon Rooney will have a pukka season, and Costa will get the Golden Boot.

It's best to always critique your team until the last minute.

But even without playing every week and getting injured last season, he was still top points scorer for STR in the fantasy prem.....

Only other option is Rooney and Sturridge, but don't want to see RVP become golden boy and Rooney not get the goals..........


Sturridge is a must as he's playing every game if fit. He also relished the time Saurez was injured and scored heaps.
