In this case though, it was from seeing the mental damage it did to the daughter left behind. I don't know how you can say you love someone then kill yourself knowing it will mess them up. Having said that, I'm sure he felt it was the right path for him at the moment.. and it was his choice. I support his choice, I just think it's a pretty crappy thing to do to your loved ones. 

You have to remember that years of drug and alcohol abuse blurs your vision of reality and ability to think rationally. Cocaine really fucks you up , Robin was in deep with it along with his buddy Richard Pryor (who was heavily into crack)

My point is who knows what he was thinking , if you're in such agony you want to escape it must clearly be worse than anyone here can imagine since we are all alive.

Whether you like his comedy or not....or agree with the concept of "suicide" the man accomplished a lot on a tough planet and went out on his own terms.  We should all be so lucky.

He didn`t go out on his own terms.  He gave up.  Keep in mind he married three times, abused drugs for long periods of time etc...

He had way more chances than most to fix his situation and he didn`t.  The funny thing is, if it were someone on welfare, addicted to drugs with three children, struggling to find work and the decided to kill themselves, none of you would give two shits.

Rush Limbaugh: Robin Williams killed himself because of a ‘political leftist’ attitude

adio host Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday said that actor Robin Williams’ alleged suicide was caused by his “political leftist” state of mind.

“What is the left’s world view in general?” Limbaugh asked his audience the day after Williams’ death was announced. “If you had to attach, not a philosophy, but an attitude to a leftist world view. It’s one of pessimism, and darkness, sadness. They’re never happy, are they?”

“They’re animated in large part by the false promises of America because the promises of America are not for everyone,” he continued, pointing to a Fox News report that suggested Williams had struggled with financial issues, and survivor’s guilt after the deaths of entertainers like Christopher Reeve, Andy Kaufman and John Belushi.


“Robin Williams felt guilty that he was still alive while his three friends had died young, and much earlier than he had,” the conservative talker explained. “He could never get over the guilt that they died and he didn’t.”

“Well, that is a constant measurement that is made by political leftists in judging the country.”
