Yep.  Haunted me for a couple years on and off.  Can't say why.

Stretching hamstrings was what got it solved, as I remember.  I might have also changed boots.

Yeah but with most lube it just slides right in.

if all the other old wives tales don't work this man is willing to come over and give you a blowjob foot massage. Good luck

Do you run (or sprint because sprinting is better for mass ::))?

If so it is the biomechanics of running and tight calves that cause it. Heel-toe, heel-toe running. This is caused by thick running shoes that allow for such footstriking.

You will need to concentrate of mid-sole "flat" footstrikes. Barefoot running with thin sole shoes.

I wanted to add to my post that the foot doctor taped up my arch tight and that also helped a lot.

^^
I had it in 2011, it took me until I finally went to get ORTHOTIC INSERTS in my shoes that it healed,
and VERY important that you see a Registered Massage Therpist in a matter of a few weeks seeing her every Saturday morning
it healed a hell of a lot quicker- she really worked hard on my calves as she says it is a big cause of the condition!!

Just stretch your damn hammies.  If nothing improves then go spend time and money.
