In 20 yrs - Wrestling will be almost nonexistent
« on: August 27, 2014, 05:27:15 PM »
I listen to alot of Podcasts, Stone Cold, Jim Cornette, Jim Ross etc.

They always talk about how when they got in the business they would always ride with the established guys to truly learn the business and hone their craft. They always seem to say this helped them get where they are. Stone Cold learned from Barry Wyndam, Dutch Mantell, JR would ride with Skandar Akbar, Gary Hart and etc etc

There are very little old school wrestlers around to give advice now and in 20 yrs, who will be around to share their wisdom to the next breed? Cena? Orton? Bray Wyatt?? Just don't see it happening.

If I were Vince, HHH or Steph make a riding rotation.....one week people rise with Arn, next week same group with Regal etc etc

They also need to do this with NXT, same trainers are breeding same wrestling style, bring in fresh trainers Storm, Steamboat etc....

Also same for Promos, bring in Jake, Austin etc

This is no doubt crushing Vince's ego. He'll never suffer financially with his accumulated wealth, but he no longer has his corporate kingdom. I'm sure that is affecting him in some capacity.

Vince is such a control freak..
He is not letting the good plots, ideas, story line's get thru..
He is hurting his product now...
Time for Vince to take a step back...

I'd really like to know what Steph & Hunter have in mind for when they assume absolute power.

I think Vince has 5 years maybe 7 years the most on top..
Then he is going to get pushed aside..
Just like he did to his dad..

Yeah, I suspect he'll hang on as long as he can. The thing is, that company has been his life - I mean such a MAJOR part of his life - for so long, that the void it will create will be immense. His life will seem so empty once he no longer has it.

Vince May man the helm until he dies, or at least can no longer physically and/or mentally do it.
