Dog Food Recall

The popular dog food brand Pedigree has issued a voluntary recall of 22 bags of dry dog food due to the possibility of metal fragments in the bag. The recall only affects the bags of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition dry dog food that were distributed by Dollar General stores located in Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Their recall notice states that although the small metal objects are not found inside the food, the overall presence of the foreign objects presents a possible risk to your pet if consumed. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported thus far, and Pedigree is working with the affected Dollar General stores in order to ensure that all product affected by this recall is no longer sold.

Even though you may not feed your dog this particular brand, you probably know someone who does. Let’s help keep other dogs safe! Share this important information with other dog owners!

Thank you for posting this. I personally don't use that brand but many do and I hope this helps save the lives of their pets.

At all cost we want to avoid the horrific scene of when the pet food imported from china contained plastic.
