The recall only affects the bags of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition dry dog food that were distributed by Dollar General stores located in Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
Their recall notice states that although the small metal objects are not found inside the food, the overall presence of the foreign objects presents a possible risk to your pet if consumed. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported thus far, and Pedigree is working with the affected Dollar General stores in order to ensure that all product affected by this recall is no longer sold.
