Translation: Matt Damon is broke
Never really understood the hype surrounding the Bourne franchise. Decent action flicks but nothing more or nothing less.
Good marketing. I always hated the fight scenes that were shot with a overly shaky camera, you couldnt even see the moves.Applies too most modern action flicks after cirka 2002. Way to shaky cameras
Yeah, the jerky camera just annoyed me. The fight scenes in the Bourne films were pretty lame overall. I actually find 95% of fight scenes in movies pretty shit these days. Too OTT, too much CGI, too fast, too stylized and just generally too fucking stupid to believe.
Every Bourne movie is the same. For unknown reasons, the agency head suddenly needs to "bring him in" only to find out that the agency head is the bad guy as Bourne escapes, regroups and then storms the headquarters to take out the agency head.
I know, and they're always watching security footage of some guy running around kicking ass and they're all shocked "OMG, it's Jason Bourne". lol. When are they gonna retire this shit? Ha ha ha. It's one of the silliest things I've ever seen. Matt fucking Damon is an invincible kung fu, ninja, commando. Please son.
Yes. No skill needed with cgi and parkinsons afflicted camera man... Just smoke and mirrors.
The first fight cinematography I remember that tried so very hard. The only thing missing was a Nantucket fog bank.
This, it's horrible to watch no idea why they do that. I think it's because it somehow saves from from having to perfect the scenes or budget. Either way it looks like total shit. WWE movies are bad for that too.
