Kai was a natural competitor for a decade. He MAXIMIZED his potential, naturally.
Phil went from shooting hoops to winning a pro card in what, 18 months?
There's just no comparison there. We all know the "ceiling" that forms, as soon as someone starts using. At the very top levels, we see it now... Phil's been running the Jay Cutler "all-out" stack for almost a decade now... it's going to affect him, just like eveyrone else.
Throw in the stress that comes from starting a business - in the supp industry - and palumboism is going to accelerate.
I'm going to be the first to say it - I predict Phil will "take a break to focus on business" after ekeing out a win. He'll preserve his legacy by not getting 3rd next year. He'll make a killing in the supp game, and keep his health too. We'll never see Phil with full-blown palumboism. He's too smart for that, he refuses to do anything he can't be #1 at.
