UKBFF - events and British finals?
« on: October 07, 2014, 09:07:23 PM »

So when is this event held and where?

Quote
The United Kingdom Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (UKBFF) is affiliated to the European Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (EBFF) and the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB), which is the largest Bodybuilding and Fitness federation in the world. The UKBFF Executive Committee Members and all UKBFF Officials and Judges are not employees and are involved solely because they have passion for our sport. The UKBFF sanctions Qualifying events throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland (see Events). At these Qualifying events, any UKBFF Member can compete and hopefully qualify for the UK British Finals which is held in October each year.

Is it in Nottingham again this yr?.... Is it still the stupid 2 day format?

Havnt been for ages, last time we went these pricks from laaandan were causing drama over some lad in the 1st timers who beat there boy, screaming he wasn't a 1st timer, threatening to throw hands etc

They should have set upon the head judge, the one who calls on the mic, never liked that cun.t, my 1st British finals he pulled me aside whilest we were all on stage and said my tan did me no favours and ended up giving be 6th... It was the year they banned dream tan, I had put ut on the night before and slept in ut, and applied several coats of spray before that so I was black.

What realy annoyed me was all the class winners were caked in it and not a word was said....

The thing with nabba is they never used to cover the north Britain, so you'd diet away spending£'s, then not even getting a pic in muscle news or then later the beef

I strived for comments off Alex mac ( no homo ::) )

It's this weekend in Nottingham 2 day event. ::)
They have so many (meaningless ) classes just to draw in extra competitors £
And their family / supporters £.
It is getting damn boring to watch for hours on end.
I may go Sunday which is the main bodybuilding day
( that is if I can be bothered)
As got a couple of friends competing, one of them
Should win the overall.

Sassan in the 100kg class
He won that class last year though his condition was a little off.
Absolutely fantastic physique shape wise.
As of last week he was heavier than last year & his condition
Spot on Christmas tree up his lower back.
As we know it's all about the last week & what you bring to stage.

Clearly I'd like to see him win it, believe he would do well as Pro.

Yes, the light heavy guy won the overall last year, not a chance making a career as a pro
The standard in the UK is pretty dire.

Haraldas.  Lithuanian.

Possibly disappeared in coke induced fit of paranoia.

Unreal potential and a fucking beast.  Couldn't diet as hard as he needed to, used to even be coked up onstage.

That's the one... Should have had his pro card one of those yrs...

Regarding the standard, I think hard ore bodybuilding is dying out now, when I was a teen everyone wanted to be a huge 20st lump, now the lads do enough to fill out a tshirt for sat night, im suprised they haven't got a new tight tshirt class to jump on this and naje a few more £'s

I have this discussion a lot because I know (unfortunately) a lot of the gayboy fitness model fags in the UK.  If I was a teenager now I'd play rugby and want to be built like one of the better built ones.  Bodybuilders have gone way OTT for me - looking fat in your clothes even when ripped isn't a great look IMO, but the whole #fitfam faggotry is so unmanly it would have put me off in a heartbeat.

However, the world at large is all about people wanking them off on social media, every fucker wants to be famous, and the bottom line for younger guys is abs and pecs get pussy so why bother killing yourself for a real physique.

How do I embed a video in here?  There's a nice video you should see.

Yeh that's what they aim for, geordie shore physiques and haircuts even...

For me and many from my age and older it was the bodybuilder type world strongest men, like Gary Taylor and sigmasson, even the old bouncers, there was some huge guys in Newcastle and southsheilds back then, obviously Arnie and sly even... Apart from the rock, there isnt that type if action heroes anymore.

I have to add, if you do carry size these days even the most uninformed know its thru steroids, there still used to be a myth to it all back then
