Personally, I think he is highly deluded and believes his own hype.  He wouldn`t be posing with his shirt off if he didn`t think he had a good physique.  Nobody has told him otherwise and he has no clue.

He's not deluded, doesnt have the mental capacity for that.

At the end of the day he is fairly simple lad that comes from a lower class english background. Was lucky to be good enough to get in the position he is in and earned a truck load of cash. A harmless simpleton that landed on his feet. Unlike like his darker colleagues he had enough of a semblance of neural tissue not to piss all his money up the wall. It also helped that he married the spice girl who whilst couldnt sing at all, was more than smart enough to recognise the power of brand beckham and help co-ordinate their combined earnings.
All those photo shoots would have been his wifes doings, not by his own choice.

Two of them work together to make a brand. She never said a word about his alleged affair with rebecca loos or any other rumours unlike classless trash in hollywood. Everything they do is to build the brand. Real madrid became richest football club in world after buying him. Previous richest was man u, his old club. He also played for ac milan and psg (paris). Is biggest in asia. Wife rides his coat tails but is vital to the brand.

Yeah, I clicked on a video today and heard him speak for the first time.  Sounds like Russel Brand.  They both also have crappy English accents and not the pretty ones.  Russel Brand especially, it sounds horrible.

He says "Fings" instead of things and bites down whenever he says a word.  Its really annoying and sounds so unpleasant to the ears.
