A hard loser is male bodybuilder who fortunately has the genetics to easily gain muscle mass without the need of assistance.  Unfortunately, hard losers easily gain fat too.  Fortunately, for hard losers it is hard to lose muscle mass, even while on a very strict diet and while doing intense cardio training.  Unfortunately, for a hard loser is it hard to lose fat, even on a strict diet and even when doing intense cardio training.  Hard losers get fat when they stop training and eating right, while hard gainers get skinny when they stop training and eating right.  As natural bodybuilders, hard losers have far more potential then hard gainers because burning fat for a hard loser is hard, but not as hard as gaining and maintaining muscle mass is for a hard gainer.  When you see a natural bodybuilder who looks "unnatural", think about this.  Is he a hard loser who has worked very hard to get to where he is, and naturally?
