They weren`t driven from their lands, they never had any in the first place.  Plus, their descendants still live in the same area.  The writers of History Books have pushed the revisionist history of the Peaceful Indian since the late 60s and it simply does not square up with any of the facts or evidence.  It is historically inaccurate and is finally being scrutinized.  The termites have spread far though as I see you still believe in this myth.
