That's nuts.

Cleans aren't easy with a ruck on.

062 is an animal - NYC guy too.

Thats zero - absolutely zero compared to Selection.

GR Selection is harder than SFAS, BUDs, etc for the 48 period it is.  .
I know, mate. I don't say it to denigrate the course - I say with genuinely held belief that if you both are mentally tough enough to endure what you already have, then I'm quite sure you're capable of doing anything if you prepare mentally for it (barring physical injury).

I don't thInk my feet or joints would last .  Meaning the inflammation in my joints would probably be too much after 24 hours of this.   Feet wise - I blister pretty easy and remember my feet destroyed during and after HCL

Maybe if I had a year focused solely on this and no other distractions - but that's not reality

I know what you mean - injuries really do take their toll, and finding the time to just fit in a fairly regular training schedule is hard enough when you're busy. I'm quite a bit younger than you but I've really suffered some bad wear and tear from when this stuff used to be a part of my life. Regarding blisters - you may already know, but 'Leukotape' is an absolute must for me if I was doing any distances with weight. Tape up every part of my feet: thin layer around each toe, along the heel, strip up the side of the ankle for support. Followed by two pairs of socks - one ultra lightweight and one thick, and a lightweight boot. Never got a blister since.

In a Heavy or HCL event - you can catch a little break here or there because it's a team event - if you watch the live feed of this thing - this event is non stop and you have multiple cadre hovering over you at all times and there is no one to switch out weight with .

Being realistic of my own limotiations - there is no way I could withstand 48 straight hours of this wo doing serious damage to myself .   not worth it imho knowing what little chance of success there is and the time commitment that would be involved just to be prepared to have a chance

It's a pretty rare and admirable quality to be able recognise and accept that. Given your risk of injury, I agree entirely. Fair play.

I've had a distal clavicle excision / suba decompression on both shoulders.   Been awesome.

But they can get a bit fried, even on a workout like Soflete....so 48 hours of overhead pressing?  Eh.....

The last sections last for only 10-14 minutes but they fry you.

Today's is finally something that will take some time based endurance.......need to get my ass on it in a few if I'm going to get the workout in.

Legs and HIIT -

TBH totally honest I don't see progress has changed any more or less from more bodybuilding style workouts vs mostly HIIT.  Diet matters a hell of lot more than the workouts in terms of appeareance so far.
