Nice - tapering sort of - have a C - L this weekend,   then full bore training for this show in whenever. 

Feel awesome.  I'm better now at 42 no dieting than I was at like 3-4 weeks out when I was 25.

Not sure if I like this cycle as much as the last one.

So far, the workouts are much shorter, with the AMARP stuff at the end.  This one has rucking though.

It's 8:15 p.m. here. There's been a shit load of tension in the house all day. My pup won't leave my side. I hear angry voices upstairs. It's probably my grandson screwing up again. 20 years old and can't act sane for one whole day. Such are the downfalls of letting your family live with you.

I'm out of here for awhile. A good workout at the gym will be a big relief. Too bad I can't take Lucy (my dog) with me. She'll be hiding under the bed the whole time I'm gone.

Such is life!

Challenge and light  - then take off a day or two are start training again.  I plan on not changing much at all - just ratcheting down my diet

-Worked my delts and skipped the walk. Instead I went to the Eagle for a scotch. Damn joint was so crowded, I waited 10 minutes to get in. Should have left. Once inside it was so bad that I could hardly move. Big crowds with people packed tight cause my enochlophobia to kick in. Needless to say, one double scotch and I was outta' there.

Hip hinge x 8 with 50 lb kb
suitcase DL x 8

Snatch grip 4 rep DL max........torn ligament in thumb prevented me after a certain weight, switched to over / under  30 sec hold on final set

3 giants sets:
One arm KB squat x 8 per leg
Row on bar x 12
1 rep pull up - 5 sec hold on top, 1 sec negative, 5 sec hold

Conditioning 4 sets - this was hard:
Tank sled push x 20M
10 sand bag box
Tank sled push x 20M
10 sandbag get up

45 minutes upper body circuits consisting of bench, military, pull downs, and curl + press.
