Bodybuilding isn't supposed to be like this but an upcoming bodybuilder
thinks I can work 40 hours at The Home Depot making $12 an hour
which is $480... or I can spend 1 to 2 hours doing those things with a group of men
and make double that and spend the extra time towards BBing.
I don't think it's a gay mentality but with drugs, food, life, ect. the bodybuilding
obsession would seem more to blame than a fondness for men.
I think the 80's and very early 90's BBing was more pure with just roids
and GH. For a long time until late 80's/early 90's GH was VERY HARD to get
because you could only get it from cadavers.
Once Synthol/site injections, SLIN, peptides and God knows what else
the whole endeavor took on a darker side. Also the diuretics like Lasix that came in as part of
contest prep the lasst 48 hours that over time has damaged kidneys.
I would not want to be a competitive pro at this period of time. NO WAY!
Here's a time when there were deeply striated chest and delts and backs looked like roadmaps.
Biceps had cuts instead of smooth oil. Although not as dry the physiques were more separated.
OH yea, Check out the vacuums in the FDB. Guys just CAN'T do it anymore.
