It's not my theory.  It's also shared by Irvin and some in the seahwaks organization.

The theory isn't that he gave away the game - it's just that he had a huge anti-lynch sentiment when it came to game-winners from the 1-foot line, and decided he'd let Wilson get the glory/attention/interview if possible.

no coach/owner/commissioner in the world would want the unpredictable Lynch giving a "i'm going to disneyland" speech after getting the win.  He grabs his penis and refuses to talk to reporters.  imagine him snubbing the trophy ceremony. Imagine him grabbing penis holding the Lombardi trophy.  That would be the #1 story and really stain the NFL.  He just might have done it too!!  lol

SO it makes perfect biz sense to just choose another weapon to get the winning score.  pats saw it too.  So did Mike irvin and whoever else comes out today.

So you're saying, the coach intentionally gave the game away to spite a player? That's ludicrous..

He also forgets the fact that they handed the ball off to Lynch the play before from the 5 where he took it to the 1 and could have potentially scored the game winner.  So if Carrol didn't want Lynch to score then he wouldn't have given him the ball in this position either

LOL.

on the 1 yard line a slant pass is very common and usually a very safe pass, not a bad call at all

No.  He intentionally tried to give what is usually a "gimme" on the 1-foot line to someone not named Lynch.

Caroll never for a minute thought he'd lose.  With that much momentum, down to the 1, with a mobile QB, he knew the TD was his.  Three tried.  Use Piecemode if you need to, but why not "try" to let another man get the glory.

Think about Caroll - he cannot control Lynch.  Now other players are taking shits on field and another man grabbed his junk in the NFC game too.  ANY coach would hate Lynch for undermining him like that, and creating an environment where other players are now doing it also.  SHITTING ON A BALL IN THE SUPER BOWL?  I mean, that's insane.

Pete chased Harvin out of town because he couldn't control him.  He'd probably love to see Lynch out of town too.  Pete thought he'd win the game without lynch being the hero.  it didn't work out.   more and more people in the NFL are starting to say Caroll didn't want Lynch to get the game winner.  it explains why the Pats chose to ignore Lynch and put in the Pass defense on that play too.  he's on fire, best runner in the game - and you ignore his wide-open ass on the big play?  Belichick knew.  Irvin knows.  Players know.  More people are realizing it.

again talking out your ass,did you know lynch was 1 of 5 from the one this year,so that not a gimmie :D,and remember it's second down with 30 seconds left and you only have one time out so to get 3 tries your going to have to throw once

You think Belichick knew that is what Carroll was thinking before that play and adjusted his defense accordingly?

That sounds really far fetched but if true then that guy is a damn genius!

Wrong.  They had the momentum and Lynch was in beast mode.  If if got the ball, it was gonna be six points.  I flat out guarantee it.

The game was over.  They fucked up.  Everyone knows it, there is no sense trying to rationalize.

He did.  All game when Seattle went to the spread so did NE's defense but this play they stayed bunched up in the box.  If you noticed the outside recievers were open. Lynch rolled out wide open.  Seattle gambled on this.  Even Butler said when they put in the third reciever they knew it was a pass from the tape they saw.  Curious what tape he saw.

The DB said they ran that exact situation on scout team preparing for the game and he got beat for a TD.  Not this time, lol.

The defensive back was right there as soon as Wilson let go of the ball from a few short yards away!

if that's true, then wilson is suppose to check out of the play if the defense isn't lined up as expected for the called play.

they all fucked up.

and carrol saying they wanted to "waste" a play is plain ludicrous, he was just making up some bs to explain the unexplainable.

you could have put JJ Watt on the line... beastmode was going right thru him.   dude was covered in defenders and got almost 5 yards on the previous play.

100 times out of 100, with the super bowl on the line, beastmode gets that TD.  Absolutely.  He's an ass, but he rises and shines in the big moments, and this was the biggest.  He was going to score.

I think Caroll - highly emotionally immature, and a little unstable (he did chase down a retired general, badgering him into leaving) just decided to take the glory away from the disobedient ass who just didn't listen to him anymore.

you say that's what you think but then you say it isn't your theory.
