Well, looks like sources inside the Seahwaks organization believe it too... It's making more and more sense.  It made sense to me instantly.  Jerk player you cannot control, you think you can win game without him, he's going to embarass them with celebration and post-win interview, he's an overall prick, and again - you think you can win anyway.   Now we see NFL players coming fwd...

Anonymous Seahawk Blames Final Play Call On Anti-Lynch Conspiracy

http://deadspin.com/anonymous-seahawk-blames-final-play-call-on-anti-lynch-1683218259?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_facebook&utm_source=deadspin_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow

Bullshit.  After that miracle catch, at the 5 they handed it off to Lynch who almost scored.  if Carrol was worried about Lynch scoring they would have passed instead of handing it off.  It was a coach who outcoached himself making a dumb shit call.  NE lined up in the middle to stop the run, Seattly decided to spread the offense but the pats didn't bite. They sill went with that play.

lol.  I was wondering why the refs called a foul when nothing happened.  So was the superbowl telecast a minute behind or something so that they could eidt out real time?  This move is a complete dipshit move.  What's the point? Dumbest celebration I've ever seen.  Just stupid.

If it's true Carroll should be fired.

Anyway, I still don't believe it.  The guy has been one of the main reasons for success for the team.  To risk it all on something so petty that nobody's going to care about, seems completely insane.

The truth is, the call was so blatantly stupid, people are trying to find a rational reason.  He gave away the Super Bowl.

and why would a coach give away a superbowl?...Lynch got them to the one yard line on the previous play.....it's just one of those stupid mistakes that you will live with under your pillow for a long time. sorry, I don't believe in any "Conspiracy Theory"

I'm just keeping track.  I said it.  Then michael irvin said it.  Then seahawks player said it.  Now we see the pats saw it coming.

and it's only been 14 hours since the game.  Let's wait a week - once everyone comes home and reporters dig.  Let's see if there was any plan in place to try to win without giving the glory to Lynch.  I think there was, and a lot of people in the sports are starting to say it now too.

no no no - Caroll still thought he'd win.  He didn't want to "give away" the game - he just didn't want to win it with Lynch.

Wlison has very fast feet, and from the 1, nobody is stopping him on a scramble.  And they have three tries!  I've said over an over, I think Caroll thought he'd still win, without a doubt.  BUT he would have preferred the dickhead who won't listen to him, wasn't the one to score the game-winner.

perfectly normal to feel that way.  lynch is a rude, classless person, disgusting too.  Coach wanted the polite QB to be the face of the win, not lynch, and he believed they'd have the win no matter what.  He didn't "throw the super bowl" - he just wanted to win without Lynch getting that score.

Then, Caroll is one fucking Cocky Coach who doesn't care the outcome and will still do what he wants to do....that's the only thing I can say to this point

Caroll is a VERY immature man.   He was banging a college chick while coach.  Cheated in college and the pros.  Actually chased a 3-star general to his car because he didn't like his answers on 911.  Pete's an immature man, it's very much established and not up for debate.

If an immature man thinks he can still win - and also not give the props to a player (lynch) that openly disrespected him for 3 years now... I think maybe he does it.  Lynch has been laughing at Pete for 3 years as pete's said "you cannot do the crotch grab".  Lynch knows coach cannot control him.

SO yeah, I think an immature coach might just give the nod to someone else if they're on the 1-foot line.  Sure.  Entirely possible - AND if we accept that, then the entire play call MAKES PERFECT SENSE.   The moment we can accept pete is a very immature man that's been punked by Lynch for 3 years now... it all makes sense.

he is hardly the best at it. don't believe the hype. he is merely a decent back.

you give him a ball and he runs with it until he's knocked down.

I'm saying there is no conspiracy.    He gave away the superbowl by making the dumbest call in NFL history.

I don't believe 204s theory for a second - like EDB said, he went to lynch on the first play and was going to go to him on the last two.

It's not my theory.  It's also shared by Irvin and some in the seahwaks organization.

The theory isn't that he gave away the game - it's just that he had a huge anti-lynch sentiment when it came to game-winners from the 1-foot line, and decided he'd let Wilson get the glory/attention/interview if possible.

no coach/owner/commissioner in the world would want the unpredictable Lynch giving a "i'm going to disneyland" speech after getting the win.  He grabs his penis and refuses to talk to reporters.  imagine him snubbing the trophy ceremony. Imagine him grabbing penis holding the Lombardi trophy.  That would be the #1 story and really stain the NFL.  He just might have done it too!!  lol

SO it makes perfect biz sense to just choose another weapon to get the winning score.  pats saw it too.  So did Mike irvin and whoever else comes out today.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that the Patriots had biggest second-half comeback in Super Bowl history.

That forced Seattle into a must score situation which led to the interception. They also could have tackled Brady for a safety but went off sides then started a fight which allowed the Pats to kill the clock.

For the last time - I'm not saying the theory is that he gave away the game.  I'm saying he GAVE AWAY THE GAME, UNINTENTIONALLY, WITH HIS STUPID CALL.

Your conspiracy theory revolves around Carroll not wanting Lynch to get glory.  Which I completely dismiss.

Yes, one of his brothers is on the Patriots and his other brother is on the Colts.  Beast genetics.
