It took a while because John Brown is a natural ectomorph and he was tall so he always looked on the skinny side for a bber, especially his legs. But over the years he really filled out and built an incredible physique. I believe he was Shawn Ray's mentor during the early years.

I would see pics of him all time but it was this cover shot where I thought he was really coming into his own and filling out. Still a bit light in the legs but a lot better than before. Besides, I don't really like mammoth quads where you have to waddle. Prime Arnold had perfectly proportion quads.
