A bunch of other message boards have a real-time chatroom feature that would have the potential to be hilarious here. Sorta like a place where Getbig gladiators could "take it to chat" and have it out in real time. http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?action=search;basic_search=chat The rules of chat could be that it isn't archived and isn't moderated but what happens there STAYS there and doesn't bleed out into the threads. Could be fun. |

Yeah. SMF has various "mods" that do real-time chat. It would require the site's tech staff to install it, but once up and running, it should be fully configurable. I am sure that some of the chatroom mods have the ability to restrict the users by their "rank" or whatever it's called in SMF-land.
