The U.S. completely understands the cost of doing business, and doesn't blink an eye at the sabre rattling and shock tactics .  you drop a nuclear bomb on us....you will cease to exist. they are fully aware of this

Building the actual weapon is not an impossible task... getting the HEU would prove difficult. 

Bankrolling the operation would be impossible without "outing" yourself, smuggling the components in would be hard.

Let me put it this way with out saying anything I cant. One just one of our ballistic missile subs with its triton missile could take out most of Europe with little to no warring.  We have like 7 or 8 deployed year round...  That's the reason no one would nuke us. We would destroy their entire country. The mutral destruction theory

I think north Korea can hit California with a nuke. Concerned that terrorists with a bomb can put it on a boat and take a leisurely trip to America.  The Hiroshima bomb was only 10 feet long. You could put that on a small  civilian yacht to get that to America.

Once Iraq gets the bomb and then pours money in to missiles there will be a big race from he oil producing Arab countries to get their own.

You ever see the arms race doc, 'Trinity and Beyond' or something? During the Cold War, Soviets detonated the biggest bomb ever made, a fifty megaton hydrogen doohickey. That's fifty-million tons of dynamite, dude. Footage was probably CGI, though.
