Gallup: 60% of republicans believe in Creationism
« on: March 26, 2015, 06:51:58 AM »
THIS is how Ted Cruz gets elected.   He announced his presidental run from creationist school Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.

Now, a full 60% of republicans believe in Creationism:

And overall, 42% Believe Creationist View of Human Origins

This is NOT a thread on the validity of this theory - take that argument to another board - this is a POLITICAL point that if Cruz is THE candidate for creationists, he is very clearly a frontrunner to WIN the GOP nomination.  Nobody is talking about this point, but it might be the one that hands him the nomination.

If Cruz embraces this theory and is very vocal about it - He WINS the nomination.  Period.
