Here is an article from the Cato Institute (one of the largest conservative / libertarian economic think tanks in the U.S.), which argues in favor of ending our embargo with Cuba. In fact, all the articles I could find from Cato support this position.

What should I care if they're *laughing* at me for living in the USA?    I live in the US of fuckin A, the best country in the world and I love it here.  I don't want a president that has us "liked", I want a president that has them fucking respecting us.  And they do.  No 911s on Obama's watch, right?  WTC93 and 9/11 showed what happened when weren't the laughingstock.

Saudi Arabia and Turkmenistan are regularly some of the worst human rights abusers and we do business with them as well.  Repubs seem to have trouble articulating their opposition to Cuba so it might be emotionally driven from our history with them.
