Bodybuilding is an extraordinarily exclusive bubble. The lack of self-awareness rivals some of the most unexplainable phenomena in modern history. I even recall (for a hot minute), with immense hindsight embarrassment, being inside looking out.
Any degree of criticism was so easily dismissed, as it only came from jealous haters: "Why do you eat that shit all the time, dude?"
"Because it makes me look like this. Instead of like you."
