This matchup could determine who faces the winner of the Weidman vs. Belfort championship fight.

My Prediction: I think Machida will win this fight. Rockhold is currently enjoying a three fight win streak, but his most notable win was against Michael Bisping via submission. The last time he tried to step up vs elite competition, he was KOed by Vitor Belfort. Rockhold has yet to prove he can hang with the upper crust of the divison.

Here is the rest of the main card for Sat night:

#1 Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza vs Chris Camozzi (fill in for Romero injury)

#5 Cub Swanson vs #9 Max Holloway

#8 Felice Herrig vs #12 Paige VanZant

Prelims start at 6PM ET (also on Fox)

I have no problem having it moved after a while. It is normal protocol to post it on the main board, so that it gets the most views/exposure possible.

Im sure he would get a rematch with Weidman, in that case.

I just dont envision Weidman holding onto the belt for much longer. He got off easy in those bouts with Anderson Silva, and he went a 5 round unanimous decision with Machida. I wonder if he can survive the initial onslaught that Belfort will bring.

Luke is a complete fighter, he is a hardworker that's for sure, but isn't spectacular at something.

Machida on the other hand gave Weidman a tough fight, Weidman was loosing the later rounds.

Machida can win this by UD, Luke won't catch Machida.

Machida has some of the most beautiful striking in mma history. He is one of the best fighters alive today. I think prime Machida beats prime Anderson 8-10 times. Anderson said Lyoto gets the better of him sparring, bigger, about as quick, stronger,sharper defensively.

Major hype due to her looks, good boxing dirty in the clinch but tends to get thrown to the ground easily
