I think people always assume New England is going to win. Not if they have to face Carolina.

Nah, not this year, too many injuries, just hanging on for Pats standards. Even when down, they are better than most.

Though I never count them out, I gave up on that years back.

Healthiest "good" team wins...

That's what everyone said about the Pats playing "the fastest show on turf" Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.

Any given Sunday.

I don't think anyone's counting the Pats out...I'd say their the favorites.

I actually don't give a shit who wins. I don't follow sports. I only watch the playoffs because of the high intensity of the games. I don't have a favorite team.

But I think the Pats are the team to beat this year.

Pats were -5 / -5.5......doesn't matter what the morons say - they're just generating interest.  Only question in Pats game would be if KC could get to Brady and make him turtle...

Interesting game is actually tonight....Steelers D sucks, no Brown, no Williams, Big Ben hurting.....no rhyme or reason why Denver shouldn't do what Carolina is doing to Seattle.........but the gambler in me is hesitant....looks too easy.

Listening to sports radio up here about the game here was their consensus:

QB: Pats
WR/TE: Pats
RB: Denver
O line: Denver
D line: Denver
Secondary: Denver
ST: Pats
Coach: Pats

Seems fair - If Thomas/Sanders haven't been dropping so many passes lately, you could make an arguement, but Edelman/Gronkowski is very good when healthy.

This is laughable.
TE/WR are two different things.  TE, Pats by a mile.  But Thomas is better than any Pats wideout by a mile.  O-line is 50/50.  Denver lost a couple starters this year, so did the Pats.  Both are shit.

It's not laughable...it's pretty accurate - I was expecting pure homerism, but it wasn't.

I can't speak for them lumping  WR/T them together, and I agree about Thomas BUT he also is having a poor year with catching passes.

Pats O-line, as it stands now, is one of the worst in football.  Denver's is better.

Edelman dropped so many catches last game.  Surprised Brady didn't choke him in his sleep.

That's true too - say we give the WR to Denver, and TE to NE......that looks like the scales tip in Denver's favor big time.

Unless the QB/Coach advantage drastically outweighs the others....

The Deflategate story is laughable in hindsight. The Patriots are in the AFC Championship Game for the fifth year in a row.

Everyone would love manning to go out with a SB win.

Pats are healthy.  They're going to decimate the Broncos.  They're gonna win by 23 points.

Of course it laughable, always has been. so many reporters outed for fake info (Mortensen, Peter King, etc).
Created and paid for by the NFL, epic fail Roger...

It was so important, the refs forgot the pressure gauges and kicking footballs at the hotel  ::)

Total buffoons...

The fact is that there are only a few teams that consistently put up good performances, whether riddled with injuries or not, as opposed to the other who are 2nd or 3rd tier at best by comparrison. The better team wins, losers seek excuses.

And Goodell needs to come in contact with polonium-210.

Fucking contract dispute between AT&T and local Fox affiliate in S.FL. Won't be able to watch the NFC championship game. I am pissed.
