I 100% care about animals like dogs and cats more than humans.  I don't give two squirts of piss about other humans.  If someone harmed one of my pets, I don't even want to to know what I'd do.  I can't stand people who are cruel to animals.  Eat a dick if you disagree.

Humans are no better than animals. Ive never believed this narrative. Obviously, every species is going to give preferential treatment to others who are part of their own species. However, it doesn't necessarily make it so.

There has been some very interesting scientific studies regarding domesticated dogs.  It is thought that one of the reasons they are so cute/attractive to people is that over the centuries they have evolved to be dependent on humans as a means of survival. Abusing a creature whose very life is dependent on people loving and caring for them is unthinkable. Kicking and abusing any dog is tantamount to doing this to a human baby. An adult canine has the intelligence and emotional development of a two year old humanbeing.

There are four pups who happily share our household with us. It is unclear who gives who the most love and affection, the dogs to us or us to them. If you could see the understanding, love and caring that they give to all of us and most particularly my wife who is very ill, it might amaze you.

Keep in mind that although probably also responsible for this crime, he was never charged or found guilty in a court of law for assaulting this woman. His guilt in killing the dog is more established and at the least it is evidence of his ongoing criminal disregard for the life of anyone other than himself.

Everytime i read a similar thread about animal cruelty, i wonder why the so called bleeding hearts actually care more about pets than other humans. I mean there are poor, handicaped, unlucky HUMANS, KIDS everywhere around you, yet you dont give a single fuck about their lives but start crying when a fucking pet is hurt.

This is not a good observation on a many levels. It is irrelevant because there is nothing said that would indicate people don't "give a fuck" about their fellow man. Furthermore, being poor, handicapped and unlucky has no relationship to being abused or sometimes murdered.

These "pets" did absolutely nothing to deserve the horrific way they were treated. Therefore the responsibility falls completely on the human trash that does these things to innocent animals.

There are people with heart and there are heartless people. You feeling as you do suggests that you are among the heartless. What have you done lately to help a poor, handicapped or otherwise unlucky fellow human? My guess is nothing, because you seem to be talking out your miserable ass.

Dude...pets stick by their masters to be...fed by them. You actually "enjoy" having pets simply because you can control them which produces some kind of pleasure, happy feeling cause you cant control any human being instead.
"Love" for a pet...what the fuck... they only care about you cause you feed them.

In a questionnaire having children so someone is around to take care of you was rated the number one bad and most selfish answer to have kids. There is no, and I mean no good reason to bring kids into this horrible world. So what if the world as we know it expired cause there were no more humans. Why would it matter? Also, shitty people who are poor like you and me should NEVER have kids

So in the end, I hope all peoples kids die, and all of us die. OBVIOUSLY this isnt realistic, its just my train of thought. Its people like you that make me think like this.

You have a point. Considering what humans have not contributed to earth, we seem more destructive then not. Clearly many humans are a huge example of absolute narcissism. If something does not serve us well, it shall be extinguished. This seems all inclusive. We are so self absorbed that we are willing to sacrifice that which sustains us in the long run for what satisfies us in the short term. Our shear numbers create a huge negative impact on the environment.

While I am very happy to read that Caitlyn is doing better, it makes me so incredibly sad that this innocent pup has had to endure such unnecessary pain because of some scummy human. I weep for Caitlyn and I pray for her to recover  to where she can go forward and live a happy life.
