Dude, first congratulations on your 7 months, no joke or insulting you about this.
However that doesn't erase your history here. The fact that you trolled so hard and now you're blaming it on your drinking won't cut it. You can't keep acting like a jackass "sober" and then say you're being treated unfairly.
Let's not forget the fact you PUBLICLY begged to be a mod and you were made one. Now it appears you're upset that Chaos is a mod on G&O and you're attacking him. Your past behavior makes people not like you and until you can prove otherwise via sober behavior their feelings are 100% justified. Don't be a baby about this.
Also don't call Che a liar, unless his posts quoted from you are altered, it's clear you weren't paying after the two day limit you set up. Again don't be a baby.
I'd just like to congratulate you on your sobriety and wish you well on your endeavor, but don't think because your made changes for your betterment it erases your past actions. Be respectable for a few years before you start demanding trust and creditability. called pulling a Tbombz.
Orson Scott Card wrote "Ender's Game" and he has said that he constantly has people come up and say that his description of violence was so vivid and graphic that they think it should not be read by kids. When prompted to show him the lines or descriptions they're referring to, they are at a loss, completely unable to do so. As the description is not there.
The gore and grime were completely in the heads of the reader. Imagined due to a vague scene and the right buttons pushed by the author. As it is with this scene, the imagined is worse than what's shown. People are imagining graphic events and seeing none. So, it's horrible. Not because it IS horrible but because they imagined a horrible situation taking place in front of them.
So instead of realizing that, they must go grab a pitchfork and a gang of town's folk to inform the censors at once. Anything else would just be ludicrous!
People are at their worst when they are deciding how appropriate things are for someone else.
The lives of each of us are being protected without request, by the moral minority. Who say they are in the majority. Yet, the majority doesn't have to say they are. They just are. The things we buy and that are custom made to appeal to us, will rise to the surface of popularity. As they are what the majority wants.
Only the minority, that demands control, needs to stamp a label and a declaration on something to deny it to others.
