I don't claim to know the bikini criteria like Noel does. That's NOT the real issue in my opinion.
BUT,I do know the actual origins for adding bikini and MPD...$$$ for the promoter/organization. Pretty simple.
The reality is, some care to use a standard like Noel outlined and others don't.
The shows are not fixed in the way some think. It's the opposite of some neat, precise conspiracy.
It's random with the only real goal of keeping people entering in bigger numbers.
500 bikini and figure girls at $200 per entry fee is some serious cash before they even sell a ticket*.

Think about it Mike.
The same exact "look" that your wife won with in a regional show was considered bad at this Jr USA.
I'll bet she beat a lot of girls with the same "look" that placed higher at this event.

Ok, you folks gave it a shot at the national level and you both are pissed off and disappointed.
Don't take it personal  and do your best to recognize this for what it really is!
On the national level the contests are a mostly a numbers game.
More paid entries = more $$ for the promoter and NPC organization.

A small number of top girls get a pro card and feel they have launched a career as a pro fitness model.
Really? Hmmm, how many actually make a 6 figure income from being a bikini or figure pro from pro contests?  

Bodybuilding or female figure fitness is a great hobby.
Enjoy it for what it is and end the pro card quest for her NOW.

1. Have her switch to figure.

2. Forget about competing in national level events

3. Stick with state/national events and compete TOGETHER 1-2 a yr and ENJOY it as a hobby.
There will always be some good regional show to do, every yr and IGNORE those who think she needs to be in the nationals*. That's a major waste of time, $$ and energy.

How your right. We are taking a long time off getting fat and happy. Then we will do another show togeather in a year. She's heavly considering figure but she has to realky what to do it not just cuz everyone says to.

I never got into the BB drugs much, but I feel I wasted a lot of life on the fruitless quest of BB shows, many moons ago.

I'm starting to ramble so let me end with this message:

I can sense the desire to keep going for it, etc. I get THAT, I really do Mike.
I  wish I had spent more time on cruises or in scenic Mts, then at a BB contest ,when I was younger.

So judge & competitors Know.
Not some vague description passed from one to another.

Make it Clear & Make It Freely & Easily Available.
