jay good thing is i could still wear pant's but i do have to bring many to dressing room,run around with the kids not waddling,legs rubbing together,they do touch pumped tho,,this is no pump,they look cleaner definition wise without pump like abs do,,,

Sure, sure Steve, keep on taunting me with photos of your enviable leg and glute development....it might be working! I measured my quads last night. They were probably still a little pumped from the leg workout yesterday, but surprisingly they'd grown since the last time I measured them when they were only slightly over 24" and now they are a shade under 25". Sadly, I don't see the cuts you have on me yet. But they're coming, just you wait. I am going to start adding in some lunges again, which should help inflate my ass a little.  ;D

lunges are key lol,,,there good to do,how tall are u?i'm 5'8 tops my legs are about 25"

I am a shrunken 5'10" or so. However, our legs could be the same length. I wear a 31" inseam and 30" sometimes works too. I think my legs are pretty short. Perhaps I am not measuring my quads right. I measured them right below the crotch where they are the biggest. They look nothing like yours at the knee....I wish! Also my waist is still thick but shrinking slowly. A lot of how we look has to do with proportions and not so much size.

Karen,

My knee issue isn't the same thing as what you are suffering. What I was allowing it to do was influence my workout routine. You may be doing the same with this allergy issue and the treatment. If we wait until we feel great to hit the gym, we may never go again. At least for me, once I took my sorry ass knee to the gym, ignoring the pain and working out the best I could I started feeling better. I even amazed myself on Saturday; My quad and calves routine went much better than I had expected. I truly believe if I'd continued to nurse my knee and avoid the gym, I'd be much worse off today. But that's just me. I am not you and I cannot know how you feel. This is just a thought and an observation.
Jay I am still drowsy so will let this phenergan wear off.  But I am glad that you are training again.  It's all good...

Steve your lunges are hardcore to say the least...leave me sore for a few days... so today i will get a chest workout in... ;)

I did a very Basic chest workout today...

Decline BB press 4x10
Incline BB press  4x10
Flat BB Press      4x10

that was it all with Barbell. I really like the Decline press. It really feels diffrent to flat.

kinder to the shoulders and i think good to alternate with flat...we got the 3 benches next to each other so i just thought do a Barbell blast fom every angle... ;D

For some reason, declines are easier for me to do then either the incline or flat bench press. I like doing them on a Smith machine because then I am not fearful of dropping the weight on neck. The gym also has a ISO lateral which mimics the decline movement and you can do them with a really wide grip if you choose.

Today being Memorial Day a legal holiday in the States, the gym was only open until 3:00 p.m. Never-the-less, I planned to do my arm routine since that is what is scheduled for Monday's. Unfortunately, my bad habit of sleeping late messed that up. I didn't get out of bed until 11:00 a.m. Then I asked my ladies out to breakfast. After breakfast we took a side trip to the nursery to pick up some tomato plants that my wife wanted me to plant for her. By the time we got home, it was 2:00 p.m. I could have made it to the gym, but I hate being the last one out of there when they are on holiday schedule because it just seems rude to the employees who had to work. I will do Monday's workout tomorrow and so on throughout the week which means I won't be take off next Sunday. I am trying to stay dedicated. Oh and I had decided to wash my probably smelly gym clothes and I had not moved them to the dryer yet. Some things are just not meant to be.

flat flyes 35 x12,40 x10,45x9
flat press db trick is turn dumbells in at top palms face in nice finish 50 lbs x3 10/9/8
finished lower cable pulls lower position to top squeeze handles at finish top portion and then did pushups 10/10 x2..

tri's
seated dip tri machine x3
pushdowns x3 last set did drop
overhaed cable extensions x3
kickback cables 2 sets 15  done...

abs 2 exercises 5 sets

nice you think of the employees in the Gym...some donīt. I love Tomatoes and my Father grew them too..yellow ones and red ones. Yes sometimes things just happen and you get side tracked...

chest  switched it up

yes the twisting of the Bells was something i never really got into...maybe try it next chest Day again...i do however like just using a Hammer grip on Incline DB press and also with shoulder press.

Thank you.  Yes I feel better but its taken me 6 days.  Only started to feel okay yesterday which was tuesday.  Although I still have a rash on my chest.  The phenergan is really bad on my body.  It's extremely dehydrating and makes my heart beat too fast and I feel unwell.  Now I am happy to say that I feel normal again.  I gave up my last cup of coffee in the morning and am drinking pure cacao powder mixed with a tiny bit of cinnamon and honey for sweetness.  My daughter is still very bruised and swollen.  Probably looks worse now as the bruising is green.  But it should fade.  She came home from school early yesterday as she felt self conscious from the bruising.  Hopefully today is better.
