The bread is good. It is the absence of vegetables that is the problem. At home, my diet is vegetable and fruit rich. Anyway, the metamucil has kicked in and all is better.

Today was my grandaughter's wedding. It has been a long day's celebration which b included lots of walking, a ton of food and an I credible amount of livation. Needless to say, nothing is bothering me at the moment. I danced my ass off tonight. I've had more flavors of schnapps then I knew exsisted. All is good.

Granddaughter's wedding? You should take the title of oldtimer.  Just having fun. Congratulations!

Leg extensions with
front squats 
leg curls with
Stiff legged deads

seated calf raises 5 sets

sets i will go by feel 3-5

cardio low intensity tonight maybe 20 mins crosstrainer. see how i feel  ;D

i normally do 3-4. 3 is the minimum. so 3 sets are with both exercises back to back so really 6.

You took it first or it would be mine. Come Thursday, I will be 70 years old. I'm still in Germany. This means there is a big party with lots of beer planned. The Bergermeister is coming and I was warned there may be a parade. My family back home say they have big plans too. So much for flying into my seventies under the radar.

4 sets of 10 reps each on dumbbell laterals, machine shoulder presses and machine rear delta.  Next up 6 sets of barbell curls followed by 5 sets of alternating dumbbell curls.

Six sets of tricep pushdown and five sets of close grip machine bench presses.  Rep range on both exercises was 5 to 10 reps per set.  Five sets each way of pulley wrist curls with a rep range of 5 to 20 reps per set and then finally 105 reps of machine sit ups.

Got told my leg brace is now on hold until they decide who is to pay for it.   I was supposed to pick it up on the 5th of September but no now as they stopped the process today.  i was looking forward to not looking like the Mummy when I walk.  Oh well.  Not the end of the world, just another first world frustration.

itīs always about Money. itīs getting worse here. if you have Private Insurance you get an Appointment much , much faster. still the Medical care is much better here than in the UK. I was lucky some years ago with my knee that i saw the Hospital Professor personally. My local Doctor was surprised because normally he just spoke to private Patients. He seemed to like Brits. Was a very old school sort of Guy but helped me a lot and the Doctor he got to operate was a very well known surgeon. So sometimes you just have to be lucky. Did a great job as my knee is perfect now. Hope they sort out the bureaucracy soon !

Insurance makes a huge difference in quality of medical care in the States. When my wife's kidneys went kaput last January and she ended up in the hospital for 11 days, the bill was $65 k. Our copay was just a few hundred dollars. There is no copay after day 4.

Even with all the co pays for doctors, nursing facility and dialysis, our total out of pocket came to only $3,400 and we have maxed out on doctor and hospital co pays for the year.

Our insurance is a Medicare enhanced plus RX plan. Each of us pays about $165 a month premiums.

BB rows 3-5 sets
one arm Cable rows or one arm DB rows 3-5 sets
BB pullovers 3-5 sets.

cardio: will do 45 mins and will use the cross trainer/Bike/rowing machine. 15 mins each machine. gives variety and the
Rowing will give my back a high rep workout at the end...i actually find rowing really punishes my grip and forearms.

I do them after delts ,,back i'm sure will prekill them..

Limited by what I can do in this condo gym during vacation. I trained the upper body.


Seated cable rows 1 x 15
Machine rows 4 x 10
Pulldowns 4 x 10

dips 3 x max
machine flies 4 x 10
machine bench press 1 x 6

delt lateral dumbbell raises 3 x 12
military press in the smith machine 2 x 6
military press on some kind of multi gym 1 x 8
shrugs 1 x 10 using the bench press station of the multi gym.

rope tricep pushdowns 3 x 12
bar pulley curls 3 x 10

I'm sure we have all been on vacation and you just wing it with what's available.

I was planning on doing cardio but I literally spent hours in the ocean body surfing. Just shot. Soon it will be cocktail time.
