Good point, I remembered it as a KO win for Johnson, but it was the corner that eventually pulled him out after two heavy knockdowns. Six years into retirement and over 100lbs to lose in weight...never really had much of a chance. he'd have been KTFO if he got in the cage with Darren though
I think the oddest idea is that he gained over 100 pounds in retirement. He fought at 220 retires to an alfalfa farm and gets his weight over 300 pounds.
I assumed the training of that era was a joke and the food being more nutritious because it was home cooked and mostly because "fast food" wasn't an option.
That's not even considering he got back down to his fighting weight within 7 months.
