Yup, it's a minefield of misunderstandings.

My father in law passed away and the next day my wife posted a huge poem that she wrote in his memory on facebook, so I commented 'TLDNR' and again, did not come across to well. I even tried saying it was internet slang for 'Treasure Loving Dads, never regretthem'

My sister-in-law wanted to add my current gf, when shes still good friends with my nasty ex from years ago on it. I said nope, not happening, not going to give you another gf of mine to bitch about my brother to, and she got so upset. No mixing families anymore.
