I've been to Vince's Gym a few times. Can we imagine some ordinary customers visiting the gym for the first time and seeing Larry and Don Howarth training? It would have been hard to sell a membership to the public there.

Gironda should have had another gym close by where ordinary customers could train. Of course, today there are gyms everywhere. Even in small towns in Australia. Where I live there are 6 gyms and the population is under 10,000 people.

When I was there I had my camera with me but never took any photos. How different things are today with digital cameras and phones.

Don Peters is in the Starsky & Hutch episode tonight on COZI TV. The episode is "Kill Huggy Bear" from 1975. Peters is of course a muscle-guy thug.

I've been told by a very credible source that the same schmoe that held the famous pool parties also let Peters stay at his place rent free in a separate BR apt in the house.
It had a big 2 way mirror in the wall and the schmoe would watch from crawl space in the wall.

Peter's was nicknamed "shoe polish" because he would put brown shoe polish on his bald spot .
