Most people do not know that Tesla discovered (I don't believe we INVENT technology) that  electrical power could be transferred with NO wires. There is absolutely no reason that we have power lines everywhere you look. When a hurricane hits or other natural disaster Tesla's system would have not missed a beat - or at least repairing it would have been MUCH faster.. One day humans will look back at our time with the same "how did they live so primitive" thoughts as we do at the ancient world. That is unless this H-collider doesn't create a black hole or alternate universe. Sounds insane but there are plenty of scientists that have a serious God complex.
