so I watched that movie Darrren Avey told me about. Football fans back in the day used to travel to away stadiums and home fans would be waiting to beat them up when they arrived? When they fought, was there kind of an unsaid rule that you couldnt kill anyone, or was it whatever happened,...happened? Does that not happen anymore cause the charges are quite high if you do engage in that behavior?

The police cracked down hard on it, we were banned from playing football in europe because of this in the 80's.

Chelsea fans got set up on by Italians in a an away match...a big group turned up to their pub attacked them and wrecked the place up and this guy ended up slashed across his head with a knife.  Ugly incidents like this are not that rare.
