I heard directly from his gf, that he died in a plane crash .

earl is not available for comment at the moment... he nearly drowned in his tears and required medical attention.

but since you heard that from his girlfriend i don't know what to believe now, maybe he did that intentionally and she's trying to keep that a secret

Special Ed might know the real deal, but who knows?

That gf was rather new in his life . I have no idea if she was protecting him or
didn't want to discuss awkward , personal details.

The thing is , my wife and I had talked with him for at least an hr within a couple weeks of his death.
He seemed really happy with his life and was very optimistic about his new love interest.

Of course, despite a few long calls, I never met him in person.
Thus, I have no idea what inner demons lurked deep inside that caused him turmoil?

he was always depressed, hearing now that his girlfriend claimed a plane crash makes me think he intentionally mixed alcohol with pills, it's not uncommon for family and friends to keep suicide a secret

if it was a place crash it should be online, how many guys named "junaids" have died in a plane crash?

There is a post somewhere here on GB way before
he had any illness where Derek Anthony said that
all the drugs he had used would most likely
take 15 years off his life. I don't think he had any idea
it would be closer to 30-40.

Someone linked the story a while back. Apparently he drove for some fuel outfit. Some guy hauling matches wasn't paying attention, pulled outta the Maxi-Mart right in front of him. Never had a chance.
