Actually it is a 69. I thought I saw something in the grill that made me agree on being a 68. Here is the ad for it for sale.

interesting.  the 68 chevelle had the roll out window on the door, the 69 did not.  I guess they left it on the camino

no, no, it's right.  My fuel injected v6 Volkswagen GTI puts out 200...I do admire classics, but give me for power plants modern fuel injection with microcomputers.  I dislike the racket many gear-heads like their engines to make.

I prize powerful and quiet engines.  When my GTI is going 100 mph, it sounds like a blender....beautiful.

I like that my truck doesn't need dealership diagnostics tho.  I'm a fledgling mechanic, so perhaps not in the know, but computerized injection timing looks inaccessible to me for a backyard greasemonkey.  One without your electronics background, that is.

I guess I could see it for zoom but with vans, a truck, and a backhoe I'm more about utility than performance.  There's not a vehicle here that a self-respecting female would be caught dead in.  ;D

Coolest vehicle I've seen for sale recently was an Oshkosh truck.  4 driven axles and a dashboard gauge for everything.  Cargo tonnage that you'd never have to think about.  That thing was badass.  I was so tempted.

"If the women don't find you handsome they should at least find you handy."  Lol, still gets me!

i also had these two cars for a while , good cars but they were death traps waiting to happen...funny thing the second car is exactly like the one i had moon roof as well as scuff mark on front bumper same spot...i wonder.....

The Monza was originally intended to have a rotary engine.  It is why the front of the car has that strange profile.

Caught Jay Leno on "My Classic Car." Among other vehicles, he gave a tour of this baby, "The Jet Car."

The 1965 Impala was the only car in America to ever sell more than one million units a year. This was when Chevrolet and General Motors dominated and from the video you can see why.

that paint is 20 years old.  crosseyed designs. the guy was ahead of his time. and worked cheap.  he does some NHL goalie masks now.  bike won the world of wheels 3 times in the 90's.  it was my buddies back then. he hit hard times and I bought it off him to help him out. he died shortly after.

1965-70 that's when they made cars... worthy of a gettbigger... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

I'd say it was the late 60s to 73-74, when the Muscle Car was king. The designers of that period really nailed "Badass."

agreed.   75-77 were the total gutless years.   corvette, mustang, Camaro....nothing had any power those years.
