240, your distaste for seattle is well documented;

HOWEVER

now that turbin has been released and acquired by the browns, i would like your opinion about his bodybuilding potential

i think he may have missed a golden opportunity to bow out from the NFL and take up the thong.  imo the dude could do more damage on the posing dais than he ever will at the line of scrimmage.

I think phil has a problem with authority.  He sees judges' lines as some sort of insult.

But it doesnt seem like the judges have a problem with Phil disrespecting their authority.

His distaste for Seattle stems from me knowing Pete Carroll and Chris Carlisle and me working with some of the athletes for their NFL and Pro Day combines.

It's a nice house. I figured it would be pretty quick before someone said he had no taste.

It's a large, luxurious, but ugly house. It makes me wonder why so many American interior designers lack good taste...

Looks like a property that will (again) belong to Yavid Goldstein's bank within 5 years. Should have invested in purple drank.

Agreed, Its in Bellevue WA, (Home of the new money, in WA) Wilson got a great deal on the property, esp. It being on Lake Washington; However, it rains 9months of the year, so no cool sunrises/sunsets until next July.😕

You don't really see houses like this being built in America, though. Even huge, well-built mansions that are less than 30 years old don't really have a lot of design detail.  The guy who originally owned and commissioned this house was Indian.  An earlier posted said Wilson got a great deal and that's probably why. It's such a non-American style. I would not be surprised if it had been sitting on the market for a long time.

That's the hypocrisy in this.  He claims he talks to God and is a devout follower but then lives in pure opulence.  Can't have it both ways.

Explain the hypocrisy.  If a person is rich he can't be a Christian?

Joel is a Seahawks fan and he once played in a celebrity basketball game with Russell.

Another shitty McMansion built for some guy who'll be broke in 10 years.  No architectural pedigree filled with shitty materials who's only purpose is to serve the gaudiness. Bleh.

Give me a Wexler, Krissel, A. Quincy Jones, or Nuetra any day of the week over that soulless shit.

No, they can't. Unless you are a Christian who perversely wants to stay out of heaven. But most christians are hypocrites anyway, so being rich or not is not germane to the topic.

It's no the being rich part but the opulent lifestyle that Jesus preaches against.

Nice try fellas, but you're both mistaken.

Jesus taught that God should have your heart not your possessions. His teachings on riches showcased people who were owned by their possessions and wealth. This was bad stewardship because the true understanding of life was/is all that we have is owned by God, we are merely stewards.

What does Joel Osteen have to do with Russell Wilson?

Both are rich and supposedly Christian. You lambasted Joel for being flamboyant of his wealth. Well, so is Russell Wilson.

That is the point EDB is trying to make.

You should reread my words in that thread and separate my opinions from scripture.   What did I say about Osteen in particular?

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."

I know, I know, we have to take in context. We shouldnt literally interpret it. I know, I know. WE are all wrong. The quote isn't what it really means. Its just a metaphor. No one gets it except theists.  ::) ::)

Most Getbiggers hold title to a Philip Johnson, or a Frank Lloyd Wright. Anything else, you might as well be a van down by the river.
