true but people in power always change things to suit their own agendas..
so why this blind half logic in criticizing religion? Too many gruesome acts done in the name of god that god forbids in the word. You people are semi smart. I KNOW that you know that religion has been infiltrated by people who don't want people to hear the good word, but
their word.
Short while back the pope for example did a speech in nato. He said "In the name of myself...." , how the fuck does a christian leader say "in my name". Gods word is highly against this. Yet, you people want to pretend like you don't realize what's going on, the fact that these people do not want people to read gods word, the real message.
Now, you can ONLY argue why don't they want people to see the real texts, but that's another topic. But just blatantly saying religion is the root of all evil is just stupid and you know it. You people just have blind hate towards religion, like liberalism has blind hate against the white heterosexual men in sweden for example. Why can't you seperate the beans from the peas, seriously.
EDIT: you still don't have to believe in omnipotent god, or god, or spirits, or the afterlife, but you're not helping to find any truth by constantly black labeling religion the way you do, and it's getting pretty old. Personal stigma's should be left out when seeking truth.
