one of the best metal drummers (imo) his double-bass is off the charts (lombardo)
("philty animal taylor like")
philthy was a monster on double-bass (overkill intro and song)

drum cam from suicidal (of course his slayer days are the best) but cool to see

Awesome!!!   OG !

Dave Lombardo just joined Testament. Seeing them in May. Pumped.

This new band has a unique style, especially on vocals ...

Thought this guy did a good job auditioning for Slayer back in 2002. His regular gig of being a black metal drummer/singer at the same time is pretty unique.

Proscriptor is a monster drummer, his work with Absu is stellar.

Older I get the less heavy I listen to, mostly still just Maiden and early Metallica plus some Megadeath and Anthrax when John Bush was singing for them.

...tonight I was listening to some old Texas blues from Lightning Hopkins and you can tell he had some influence on SRV.

Rona-Metal   :D

THE DENIERS
Manifesto

The Deniers was born at the heat of the corona times. Corona Avant-garde, our first album, is a social critic directed against the politics of corona, against the state terrorism and the totalitarian measures that were normalized and ´using false information and mass propaganda.

WE DESPISE ALL TYRANNIES (did he says "trannies)??
ALL RELIGIONS
AND ALL FORMS OF DOGMATISM

not big on this vocal style, but not bad (for 2 guys doing it all)
Kinda funny

One of my all-time faves is back (Mercyful Fate). Joey Vera on Bass (Armored Saint, Fates Warning).

Mercyful Fate is legend.

Just too bad Denner isn’t involved. But, yeah, Vera is a terrific bassist and a cool fella.

My King/MF/related collection is extensive.

I guess Denner didnt want to do it a few years back so King got those other guys from Sherman's band.
And now he just keeps them.
Agreed though, Denner and Hank together are awesome, like Murray/Smith in maiden. Pair up well...

T. Hansen was one heck of a bass player, cancer got him last year...
