Eluveitie is quite enjoyable actually, went to a few "paganfests". But found that their live-music always lacks enormously in soundquality...

Some russian stuff (verging on death/metal-core):

I like anything metal. The heavier the better. Music for men.

Lots of good Russian bands with electronics fused with metal. I've noticed a lot of that coming from the region lately.

Had the privilege to see the below ones on a pretty often basis, acquainted with some of them.

Dukes is a boring vocalist.

Youells looks good: http://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Rob_Youells/30449

I like metal as well guys, mainly power metal.. Rhapsody and Manowar are my favourite bands. As some of you know I used to be a long haired "metalhead" as a teenager.

Here is a lesser known Power metal band for you.

Not big on italian power metal because the riffs oftentimes have NO BALLS.

I prefer my power metal from Germany. This is how its done:

The first album by Death Dealer (2013), was pretty awesome (power metal). (Ross the Boss from ManOwaR).
Their new one is on its way to my house from Amazon, should arrive today...

First three LPs from Labyrinth were good. Everything else - meh.

Speaking of italian bands first two albums of Sadist were great, before they turned to -core stuff.

You should probably like this one too then.

Unless someone mentioned Kreator this thread is more useless than Father's Day in the ghetto.

Yeah, Kreator is one of the greats. Coma of Souls, Renewal and Outcast are good as gold. Kreator really stand apart from any other band they usually mentioned with, like Sodom, Destruction or bay area thrash bands.

Found an absolutely awesome Spotify playlist:

"Thrash Metal / Over 7,000 Songs"

Hardly ever have to skip a song.

How was Godflesh?

Very good. Just Justin and G.C. and their samples.

Pre-ordered the new Killing Joke. Can't wait.

If you like Power check out swedish band Dragonland, phenomenal band with amazing compositions and solos... They are my favorites in the genre...

I've been into prog-rock/metal since the 70's but these guys have caught my attention most recently.

Going to see Priest and Mastodon in a few weeks. Should be a good show. I wanted one last chance to see Priest before they are worm food.

Was spinning Overkill's "Horrorscope" today. Wondering who else is big on the metal shit. I love me some older '80s thrash metal and stuff like early Morbid Angel, etc.

Hmm, Overkill had a few good ones. I like Destruction (German), early Metallica, Testament, some of Slayer. Also, I do of course enjoy early Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath :-).
