Because of the era everyone loved Koko and hated the Genius, Earthquake, The Powers of Pain,et....

Koko was a legit fan favorite and entertaining performer but a Hall of Fame caliber wrestler.... based on what criteria? He got in before Demolition, who were a legitimate draw. Or

It just doesn't make sense.


And I don't mean to take anything away from Koko or his career but was he really a defining guy of his generation?

Koko had some success down south, involved in a few angles with Eaton, Lawler, and Kiern. Despite those runs, he still was never in the big picture it seems.

While I never considered him anything more than a mid-carder in WWF, I will give him some deserved credit: he was a recognizable character from that period. Is that enough to merit a HOF spot?
IMO, not before guys like Demolition, Rude, Bulldogs, etc.

I know Bret was inducted. Did they ever induct him and Anvil as a tag team like they did with Flair and, later, the Horsemen?

He was a mid card attraction, something like a Fandango or Disco Inferno of his day. Hall of Famer? No way, but, we're not talking about a real Hall of Fame.

They have been fantastic and made the gimmick the best it could possibly be.

Yes, yes... And, so was Sting - much to Showstoppa's chagrin. God, that still pisses him off.  ;D

Maybe the old man will start an "extended-Horsemen Family" section of the HOF.
