Any other fans? This is probably one of my favorite rock albums--which is saying a lot since rock is not my genre of choice. I remember tracks from this album circulating when I was in high school. It resonated with me then... it still does. You know an album is good when it's not your type of music but you like it anyway. I couldn't name a recent JCM song, but his 80s stuff sure has staying power. 1. "Rain on the Scarecrow" 2. "Grandma's Theme" 3. "Small Town" 4. "Minutes to Memories" 5. "Lonely Ol' Night" 6. Great artist. Grew up about 40 mins south of me. Has a beautiful home on the banks of Lake Monroe in Bloomington Indiana. I was fishing a bass tournament several years ago and was casting right up to his shore. He was out in the yard and waved and asked how the fishing was. From what I hear and that little experience with him that he is a pretty cool person. |
