Bostin Lloyd = Drug abuser and drug dealer
DLB = Drug abuser and pathological liar
I'd say these are not the sort of people who Americans, or anyone else, should look up to. Again, it appears that you are focusing on the material aspects of people's existence and equating this to success.
Everybody in competitive bodybuilding abuses hormones. No hormones no bodybuilding. If that bother you why are you here?
You don't know or have any evidence that Bostin is a drug dealer. Why would he being so high profile and having such a successful business?
And though all competitive bbers are drug abusers a precious few have built a successful business. That's what I defended against people who criticize their house, their car, their products, their success. It has nothing to do with looking up to them as people. I don't know them in real life. I have made it abundantly clear that I am not a fan of Bostin or DLB as internet personas but I'm not going to let that delude me into not recognizing that they have become very successful in a cult where the use of hormones, and lying about them, is rampant.
And yes, material wealth is an important aspect to success. Stop lying to yourself. If you are poor, can't keep a roof over you head, go hungry all the time, no consistent income... you are not doing well in life. Name me one person who is dirt poor that you consider a success and would like to emulate? Even Ghandi, a University College London-educated lawyer who donned a loincloth to identify with the poorest of the earth but cultivated wealthy contributors, wasn't all that he appeared.
As Sarojini Naidu, president of the Indian National Congress, once memorably observed, "It costs a lot of money to keep Ghandi in poverty."
