My routine right now is I train before work in the morning, so I'm up around 4:30 or 5am. I take a multi-vitamin, fish oil, b100 and vit d. I train on empty stomach without any stims and sip BCAAS + creatine during my workout. Afterwards I shower and drive to work where I have my first meal and then about an hour after that my first coffee. Rest of the day is the usual, coffee, food, protein shakes. If I train after work I will have a coffee before my workout.
As weird as this sounds, I've never taken a preworkout consistently. I tried that MusclePharm preworkout once. And as far as I can remember, that's the only preworkout I've ever tried... this was in June at the Toronto Pro, where I got a free sample.
Now, I'm no angel when it comes to stims. I've tried EC, ECA, I drink a lot of coffee and energy drinks. But not for the sole purpose of boosting energy in the gym, just because I get tired from all the work I do outside of fitness.
