They get millions given to them as a stipend as a part of the government spending.

I did not know that.

It's bad enough that they are supported by the ordinary working people, many whom struggle, but to have such opulence and luxury. I mean, even Josh has to make a punching bag out of an old.

That is just outrageous. I can't believe I never knew this. I guess it's because I just never paid attention or thought about it. It just always was. Maybe that's the case with most people. They just never think about it or question it because it's always been like that.

Exactly. A king with a different name.

A president is a government employee. It's a matter of personal opinion if a tax payer is getting their money's worth out of a government employee. A president's job, even if one considers them a bad president, is not an easy one.

There's no equivalence between a democratically elected president and a King/Queen who is just born into the position and doesn't do any actual work.

The Royal family could be eliminated and have no effect on the country other than getting rid of more dead weight. If we got rid of the President, the Senate, the Congress, the Governors and all Federal and State employees that are funded by the tax payers I think it would probably make a difference.

Yes this is true it's fucking disgusting, that donkey looking cu nt prince Williams wedding cost around 10million and another 4million or so to refurbish his 22 room "flat" inside one of their palaces.
All the while some working families on low incomes are having to visit food banks to feed their kids, meanwhile prince Charles will fly 5 miles in a private helicopter to save travelling by car. They make me fucking sick
