I guess these things happen.  If they didn't then we wouldn't need the rules.  If you think about it, the rules would cease to exist if everyone behaved since rules only come to bear when they're broke, like an old auntie who married an alcoholic injun.  Now, personally, I think there should be sirens and flashing lights for people who do good deeds.  It's almost impossible to conceive in this Thou Shalt Not world, isn't it?  What would a happy, congratulatory alarm sound like?  Also we could have a buzzer of some kind that would go off whenever someone could have done something rotten for his own advantage but refrained.  Then the You're A-Ok officers would arrive and put one of those Hawaiian lei flower necklaces on you so that all day long everyone would know you're a good egg.  Maybe you'll get your dick sucked on.  And something for common courtesy.  If someone holds a door for you you can take out a little bell and ring it while pointing to the person.  Then he would take out his unobtrusive No, Please, It Was Nothing bell and give it a couple shakes.  In the world I see, car horns would allow you to select a subtle Ahem, a Forgive Me But I Left Later Than I Should Have Because I Was Fucking Around, and Although I Just Spotted You On The Sidewalk There I Am Already Having Lascivious Thoughts About You.  Every meal comes with dessert and no one ever says anything mean on the internet.

On a sidenote, Pellius is a joke to me. Spewing enough bullshit, which he assumes is insight, to always hit base with someone.
Really, he's the equivalent of a spiritual medium. Full of shit, and self-deluding in thinking he's some sort of intellectual.
The only reason why I engage with him is because he's such a nutcase I can imagine him setting his house on fire while furiously typing response after response failing to grasp people are fucking with him. Or in the case of his statement above, simply failing to understand statements made by others.

People get banned all the time for posting explicit sexual photos (bare asses etc.). Pellius' offense is much worse in my book.
