What's the difference in taste in your opinion?
Yamazaki has a light, floral, aroma and very smooth.
Glen 12 is nice and straightforward. Glen 15 starts out a little harsh but has a great finish. Glen 18 is smooth from beginning to end.
I've tried the Lagavulin 16. It's heavily peated (think iodine and charred wood) and takes some getting used to.
Also tried a few others like Dalwhinnie (SP?).
I like Balvine doublewood .12 a lot more than the Caribbean cask 14.
I gave up the rocks early. I will occasionally use those lava rocks to chill scotch but don't really feel they are necessary. At this point I don't even use a splash of water.
