Funk, thanks for the tribute to Doug Beaver. He was a great inspiration when I was younger. Always in the hunt for best arms and most muscular man. Many top placings in national competition. Could have easily been awarded the 1974 AAU Mr. America title that went to an equally impressive Ron Thompson and runner-up Paul Hill.
Just wanted to express my appreciation Doug. I think you were a great bodybuilder.
