you're cutting with lower AAS dose than bulking? shouldn't you be using more to preserve the muscle while dieting?

theres no set in stone rule for that... to me it makes more sense to force your body to put on new tissue by going high doses, a lot of food, a lot of training.
imo when cutting down youre just stripping fat, nothing else. i never saw a difference in fat loss OR muscle retention with higher dosages..
imo you wont lose a significant amount of muscle on 200mg tren alone unless youre huge already and going from ripped to stage conditioning and im running test/tren/npp/dht in low doses while cutting down from 10-11% or so to 6-7%, no need for more since i probably wont end up any heavier than 84-85kg shredded
